Terms of Use
Terms governing access to the Dannon Group Petroleum & Energy website
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using www.dannongroup.net, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the website. Additional terms may apply to a portal, service, campaign, request for quotation or transaction and will prevail for that specific activity if inconsistent with these Terms.
Information Only; No Transaction Created
Website content is provided for general corporate and commercial information. It is not an offer, commitment, product allocation, mandate, agency appointment, investment advice, legal advice, credit approval or guarantee. A transaction becomes binding only through definitive written documents executed by duly authorised representatives of the identified parties after satisfactory compliance, due diligence, credit, product-availability and regulatory approvals.
Permitted Use
You may view and download reasonable extracts for legitimate internal evaluation of Dannon's services. You must not:
- use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that infringes another person's rights;
- submit false identity, ownership, authority, product, payment or transaction information;
- attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape at scale, disrupt availability or bypass security controls;
- copy, republish, modify, sell or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission; or
- misrepresent an affiliation with, authority from, or commitment by Dannon Group Petroleum & Energy.
Intellectual Property and Brand Protection
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, text, graphics, trade names, logos, documents and other content are owned by or licensed to Dannon. No licence is granted except the limited right to use the website under these Terms. Dannon names, logos and documents must not be used in purported offers, invoices, mandates, proof-of-product documents, social-media promotions or transaction communications without written authorisation.
User Submissions
You confirm that information submitted to us is accurate, lawful and supplied with proper authority. You grant us the limited right to use it to assess and respond to your request, perform due diligence, protect our interests and comply with law. Do not send trade secrets, original title documents, sensitive credentials or funds unless requested through a verified and authorised channel.
Third-Party Links and Services
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement. Dannon does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy or security. Any engagement with a third party is subject to that party's terms and your independent verification.
Website Availability and Liability
We seek to maintain accurate and secure content but do not warrant that the website will always be available, error-free, complete or current. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dannon will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this website. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Suspension and Evidence Preservation
We may restrict or suspend access to protect the website, users, investigations, legal rights or regulatory compliance. We may preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary for cybersecurity, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or compliance purposes.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Subject to any mandatory law and any applicable transaction agreement, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to website use. The parties are encouraged to seek good-faith resolution before commencing proceedings.
Changes and Contact
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after publication of revised Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. Questions may be submitted through the Contact page.
